Dairy and Gluten Free

About us...

A DaGFree couple that love to travel and are extreme-foodies!

How did DaGFree come about? Whilst courting my now stunning wife, (always stunning but now my wife is what I mean- Before I get in trouble!). I had the usual date-planning issues... How do I "WOW" her and that quickly changed to where are we going to eat as I know the way to her heart is definitely via her stomach! Her, being a medical student at the time, meant living on an extremely tight budget. This was often topped up massively in terms of food deliveries from her Family (and eventually me too!).

Why did we travel the 90 miles each way to drop her food for the week? At that time Dairy and Gluten Free products were not as well catered for. They were also not easy to budget for (still nothing has changed there as I write this) on a medical students allowance.  So overtime, me being a keen cook, I took it upon myself to rustle up Dairy and Gluten free meals which she couldn't normally enjoy and missed. What followed was weekly 'dates' to her local supermarket where we would collect the items so I could cook our lovely meals/experiments.
